Donald Glover was my absolutely my favorite comedian this season, I waited for and purchased his special in iTunes, it is amazing, thoroughly hilarious. I first discovered Don Glover on NBC’s show Community, which is running a marathon tonight at 8, which was, along with Modern Family, one of my favorite shows of the season! Glover plays a vapid jock named Troy (possibly a nod to HSM?) who befriends a very strange Arab. If you haven’t seen the show, it and its entire cast (including Joel McHale of the Soup) are hilarious. So check him out!

Iliza Shleshinger is the most hilarious girl in comedy today. Well, that may be a bit of hyperbole, but none the less hilarious. I first discovered her last season on Last Comic Standing, on which she became the Last Comic Standing. Her special is just as hilarious as her performances were all last season and is definitely worth looking up! I’m almost positive we will be seeing a lot more from this most vivacious of female comedians. Myq Kaplan is as hilarious as the spelling of his name. He is another of my Last Comic Standing finds, and so far is doing well as one of the judges favorites this season. He is currently in the top 10 and will most likely make it quite a bit farther than that. His special has some wonderfully original jokes, and as the judges on Last Comic Standing, noted he leans a little toward the cerebral with his material. (his is another special which is readily available)
